Dr Krishnamurty receives 'Dhanvantari Award'

Mumbai, Nov 2: Veteran Homeopathic physician Dr P S Krishnamurty was honoured with the prestigious Dhanvantri Award-2008, at a glittering function in Taj Hotel here today.

The award, instituted by Dhanvantari Medical Foundation for oustanding contribution in the field of medical science, was given by Union Minister for Power Sushilkumar Shinde.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Krishnamurty said, ''The search for cure of human sickness has kept me in this profession for the past 60 years. Homeopathy not only cures but proves the supremacy of the defence mechanism of organisms.''
