CPI-ML to contest polls in Chhattisgarh, Raj, MP

Raipur, Nov 2: The CPI Marxist Leninist(CPI-ML) will field its candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi.

Talking to UNI here, party Secretary KN Ramchandran said his party has decided to contest two seats--Sriganganagar and Sardulshahr -- in Rajasthan on its own and support CPI-ML(Mahendra Singh) group on nine other seats.

Besides this, the party would field 12 candidates in Madhya Pradesh, eight in Chhattisgarh and some candidates in Delhi.

The party has also released its own manifesto opposing present model of economic policies, being worked by both Congress and the BJP.
