Barwani, Nov 2 (UNI) An office-bearer of the Congress Seva Dal has threatened to go to New Delhi and commit suicide to protest against district Congress President Chandrabhaga Kirade not being provided a ticket from Rajpur assembly seat in this district.
Congress Seva Dal's Anjad block president Raju Mogre told reporters here last night that official party candidate Shakuntala Vaskala, a former janpad panchayat president, has been imposed upon them.
On the other hand, Ms Kirade has been active in the region for the past five years and raised issues concerning the whole district.
Mr Mogre said he would reach New Delhi along with his supporters tomorrow and request Congress President Sonia Gandhi to change candidate. Still, if the candidate was not changed, he would commit suicide.
