SNDP Gen Sec is trying to mislead people: Vidyasagar

Kottayam, Nov 1 (UNI) Save SNDP Forum Chairman and former SNDP Yogam President C K Vidyasagar today charged that SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan was trying to mislead people by giving false explanation to the deposit scam in the SNDP Units.

Talking to newspersons here, he said thousands of persons were affected because of the deposit scheme under the cover of the micro finance scheme.

The SNDP Yogam was responsible for the deposits collected by the SNDP units, he alleged and said it would have to give back the money to the depositors and the General Secretary could not escape from his responsibilities.

Charging that the move to open new engineering colleges in the state was another area of corruption, he said those colleges were private institutions and had no connection with the S N Trust or the SNDP Yogam.
