Simplex Infra posts 47 pc rise in net profit for Q2
Mumbai, Nov 01 (UNI) Construction player Simplex Infrastructures has posted a 47 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 28 crores, for the second quarter ended September 30 of the current fiscal as against Rs 19 crores for corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's EBITDA was also up by 62 per cent to Rs 103 crore from Rs 64 crore on revenue growth of 74 per cent to Rs 1,005 crore from Rs 577 crore, according to a Company release issued here today.
Overseas revenue rose by 155 percent from Rs 102 crore to Rs 259 crore with its share increasing from 18 per cent to 26 per cent.
The order book of the company stands at Rs 10,600 crore with 38 per cent share coming from the overseas projects.
''We attribute the positive results to projects bagged recently from national and international markets,'' B D Mundhra, Chairman and Managing Director, Simplex Infrastructures, said.
