Seven family members killed in road accident at Kutch

Bhuj, Nov 1 (UNI) Seven members of a family were killed and 19 injured in a collision between a van and a Gujarat transport bus near famous pilgrimage centre 'Mata no Madhnear' here today.

According to police, more than a dozen members of a family were travelling in the van from Dayapur village to Narayan Sarovar when it collided with the state transport bus coming from the opposite direction, killing seven members of the family. The mishap occurred at around 1400 hrs.

The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals, sources added.

The deceased have been identified as Pravinbhai Vasani (37), Hiren Heerallal (16), Veena Pravinbhai (36), Ratan Jayantilal (18), Riya Jayantilal (14), Neerav Pravinbhai (12) and Jeenal Pravinbhai (7).
