Private FM Station ransacked by KRV activists
Mysore, Nov 1 (UNI) Karnataka Rakshna Vedike (KRV) activists today attacked a private FM Station and ransacked the office furniture in protest against airing Hindi songs on Kannada Rajyotsava Day.
The KRV activists, who attacked the Station this morning when Hindi songs were aired in between Kannada songs, damaged as many as nine computers, Servers and Office furniture.
Station Director Abhinath Kumar told UNI that a complaint has been filed with the police against the attack, however, the Station continued its program. He claimed that the radio station usually airing the Kannada songs 80 per cent and only 20 percent of Hindi songs in between.
The KRV activists alleged that the station should have played Kannada songs on Rajyotsava day which was celebrated through out the State.
