No changes for LS poll alliances: AICC Secy
Puducherry, Nov 1 (UNI) AICC Secretary in-charge of Puducherry K B Krishnamurty today ruled out any possible changes in the present alliance in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu for the Lok Sabha elections.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Krishnamurty, who was here to attend a party meeting, said the Congress was for the same alliance comprising the DMK and host of smaller parties.
However, there could be some adjustments (in seat-sharing) because of the delimitation of constituencies, he said adding it would be effected on mutual consultations only.
Asked about Former Chief Minister N Rangasamy having a 30-minute discussion with him, Mr Krishnamurty said there was absolutely no problem in the Congress which was strong and united.
The party would unitedly face the next Parliament elections here, he added.
On the financial crunch being faced by the government here, he said the Centre was there to lend support and the efficient Cabinet here could take care of financial administration and resolve the crisis.
