Lanco Infratech Q2 net up 16.34% at Rs 39.87 cr

New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Infrastructure developer Lanco Infratech Ltd today said its net profit surged 16.34 per cent to Rs 39.87 crore for second quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 34.27 crore for the same period last fiscal.

Total income increased 65.45 per cent to Rs 642.86 crore for Q2 FY09 from Rs 388.55 crore for corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

However, the Group posted a net profit of Rs 51.55 crore for the July-September 2008 as compared to Rs 56.28 crore for second quarter FY08, registering a decrease of 8.40 per cent.

Total income of the Group surged 107.31 per cent to Rs 1,290.58 crore for the second quarter current fiscal Rs 622.52 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.
