Jewellery worth Rs 20 lakh stolen
Puri, Nov 1 (UNI) Gold and silver jewellery worth around Rs 20 lakh was stolen from a jewellery shop at Laxmi Market Complex under Town police station in the district late last night.
Police here today said gold jewellery, weighing about 1.5 kg, and silver ornaments weighing more than 10 kg, were stolen from the shop after breaking open the shutter.
Police were interrogating the watchman on duty. Nobody has been arrested so far, police said, adding that investigation was on.
