Agitation at Petrapol corridor withdrawn
Bangaon, Nov 1 (UNI) Truck operators and clearing agents organisations at Petrapol corridor withdrew their decision to cease work, scheduled to begin today, at the land port near here in North 24 Parganas as the Central Warehouse authorities reserved their decision for enhancement of parking charges.
At least ten organisations, involved in international trading with Bangladesh, earlier decided to launch a movement through ceasework against the hike of parking charges at the Central Warehouse complex to Rs 75 from today.
Clearing Agents' Welfare Association sources said the warehouse authorities had decided not to implement the order of enhancement of parking charges till March next.
