12 cases of Model Code violation in Rajasthan-CEC

Jaipur, Nov 1 (UNI) About 10 to 12 reports of violation of model code of conduct have been lodged in Rajasthan since the enforcement of code in view of Assembly polls on December 4, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) N Gopalaswami said.

Talking to newspersons here last night Mr Gopalaswami said these villations were related to misuse of official vehicles, misuse of public places for putting boardings and banners and other instances of minor violation of the code.

The CEC also expressed the Commission's resolve to enforce the code and other poll related rules and regulations strictly.
