Two arrested with weapons near Phillaur

Phagwara, Oct 31 (UNI) The police arrested two motorcyclists and recovered one .315 bore and a .12 bore pistol near Rurrki village under the Phillaur police station last night.

According to the police four live cartridges and Rs 36,000 in cash was recovered from the,. Their motorcycle too was impounded.

The accused were identified as Navtej Singh alias Sonu and Tirlochan Singh, Phillaur DSP Rajinder Singh Sohal said.
