Swiss Red Cross delegation calls on Lt Governor

Puducherry, Oct 31 (UNI) An official delegation of Swiss Red Cross led by Director-General Markas Mader called on Puducherry Lt Governor Govind Singh Gurjar at the Raj Niwas here yesterday.

Lt Governor's Secretary S Kumaraswamy, in a release here today said the delegation thanked the Lt Governor for the active support and assistance provided by the Government of Puducherry in executing their tsunami rehabilitation and reconstruction projects in Karaikal region.

Mr Martin Fuhrer, International Director, Mr Peter Eihlmann, Swiss Caritas, Mr Peter Eppler, Country representative of Swiss Red Cross and Mr P Venkataraman, Regional coordinator were part of the delegation.
