Kotak Mahindra Bank Q2 net down 33 pc

Mumbai, Oct 31: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, a leading private bank, has reported a net profit of Rs 160.97 crore for the second quarter ended Sep 30, 2008, down 33 per cent from the Rs 241.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The bank's Net Interest Income (NII) for the second quarter ended September 30, 2008, increased 46 per cent at Rs 582.16 crore from Rs 397.65 crore in the year-ago period, the company stated to BSE.
