Governor greets people on AP Formation Day

Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh will observe the 52nd Anniversary of the formation of the state tomorrow.

Greeting the people of the state on the occassion Governor N D Tiwari said, ''the state of Andhra Pradesh came into existence to fulfill the aspirations of the Telugu speaking people after a protracted struggle.

Various dynasties had contributed to the enrichment of the areas which now constitute the state of Andhra Pradesh. As inheritors of a proud legacy, it should be our endeavour to make our state rich'', he said.

Let us take a pledge to make the state stronger in political, economic and social development. The tremendous progress achieved so far must be consolidated and we must move ahead with greater determination and dedication to achieve the goal of faster and equitable growth,'' he also exhorted the people.
