AIADMK resort to agitation against illegal sand mining in TN

Karur, Oct 31 (UNI)AIADMK Karur District unit led by Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa Peravai Secretary Thalavai Sundaram staged a slogan shouting demonstration here today, condemning the DMK Government's failure in preventing the illegal sand mining at river Cauvery and Amaravathi in the district.

The party's District Secretary and Karur MLA, Senthil Balaji said the demonstration was also to protest against erratic water supply in the Karur municipal area and the Inam Karur municipal areas and to solve the problem of the people.
