14 injured in a grenade explosion in J-K
Srinagar, Oct 31 : At least fourteen security personnel were injured in a grenade explosion inside a heavily guarded police station in Jammu and Kashmir Baramulla district today.
According to the sources, the militants fired a rifle-launched grenade at the police station injuring eight paramilitary troopers and six policemen.
The injured have been admitted to an army hospital here.
"We don't know who did it. The grenade blast took place inside the police station and the militants came on bike. I have no clue about the explosion," said Nazir Ahmed, a police constable, who was an eye witness to the incident.
No group has claimed the responsibility so far.
