Vice-President condemns serial blasts in Assam
New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Vice-President Hamid Ansari today condemned the serial blasts that occurred in various parts of Assam this morning.
Mr Ansari expressed deep shock that the blasts had left several dead and a large number of innocent people injured.
''Such terrorist acts coinciding with the festive season are intended to disturb social harmony,'' he said and urged all citizens to unite in combating the scourge.
The Vice-President expressed his sympathy for the families of those killed and injured.
