VHP condemns Assam blasts, calls Assam bandh on Nov 1

New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Condemning the serial blasts in Assam, which left at least 48 people dead and more than 300 injured, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad today called for an Assam bandh on November 1.

Expressing sympathy for the relatives of the dead and the injured in Assam serial blasts, Dr Pravin Togadia, International General Secretary, VHP said,''killing Hindus on Bhaiduj and 2 days before Chatpooja is part of a larger conspiracy of Jehadi Terrorism.'' Demanding President's Rule in Assam in the wake of today's serial blasts. Dr Togadia said,''VHP announces all India democratic Dharnas and silent march against Assam blasts on October 31.
