Unity Infraprojects posts 42 pc up PAT at Rs 15.42 cr

Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) Engineering company Unity Infraprojects has posted a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 15.42 crore for Q2 ended as on September 30, 2008, a 42 per cent increase over Rs 10.83 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.

The Net income of the company during the same period stood at Rs 229.54 crore, up by 50 per cent against Rs 152.65 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, the Company said in a statement today.

''The Company will continue to focus on being selective about choosing projects, and stress on operational efficiency and excellent execution. It will also capture value across EPC, real estate and infrastructure development spectrum,'' Unity Infraprojects Chairman and Managing Director Kishore K Avarsekar said.
