Three students drown, bodies recovered in AP

Vijayawada, Oct 30 (UNI) The bodies of three intermediate students, who were missing since October 28, were recovered from river Krishna at Yenamalakuduru, near here, today.

Police said the victims were identified as Ch Venkata Pruthvi Krishna, Ch Vijay Gandhi and N Srinivasa Reddy.

All of them hailed from Peddapulipaka village.

It was suspected that they drowned when they were taking bath in the river, police added.

Based on a complaint lodged by their parents yesterday, a search operation was held.

A liquor bottle, footwear and clothes were also recovered from the river bed, police added.
