Megasoft reports consolidated income of Rs 829 million
Hyderabad, Oct 30 (UNI) Megasoft Limited, a transnational Intellectual Property-driven, product-based technology company, today announced that it has reported a consolidated income of Rs 829 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 728 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
However, Profit Before Tax reported a declined to Rs 27 million this quarter from Rs 155 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit After Tax was Rs 22 million during the quarter, Managing Director and CEO G V Kumar said in a statement here.
''There is no doubt that the economic crisis has affected the entire world and growth rate of overall telecom industry. Now we are more focused on our higher end, larger customers and cash flow centric business and are viewing new growth opportunities conservatively,'' Mr Kumar said.
''We are prudent on investment for growth while continuing to ensure that we are a stable and strong partner for our many customers in this unpredictable environment,'' he added.
