Humidity dips in capital as mercury rises
New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Mercury continued to rise for the second day today since Diwali, arresing the fall in the maximum and minimum temperature.
According to the Met department, the maximum temperature recorded today was 33.8 Degrees C, two degrees more than than normal as against 33.1 Degrees C yesterday.
The minimum temperature in the city also followed the trend, climbing to 18 Degrees C as against 17.4 Degrees Celsius registered yesterday.
People got a respite from the rising humidity today as it went down to 86 against 92 yesterday.
The Weatherman predicted that the maximum and minimum temperature would stay around 33 Degrees C and 17 Degrees C respectively.
The Met office also forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the likelihood of a slight mist in the morning.
