High alert sounded following Assam blasts
Bangalore, Oct 30 (UNI) A high alert has been sounded in Karnataka following the serial blasts in Assam, in which at least 62 people were killed today.
Police sources said security was tightened in and around 'Vidhana Soudha', the state Secretariat, High Court, Railway and Bus stations in the city soon after news of the blasts broke out.
Sensitive places in different places in the state were also provided with additional security. This included the coastal districts and the Hyderabad-Karnataka region, police added.
