Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee condemns Assam blasts
New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today condemned the blasts in Assam which left 62 dead and 300 injured.
Strongly condemning the terrorist act, Mr Vajpayee said,''the blasts are a crime against humanity and a conspiracy to create division among the people of India.'' Paying tributes to the innocent people killed in the blasts, Mr Vajpayee prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
Condemning the blasts, the catholic Bishops Conference of India said,''this is a time for citizens of this country to remain united and fight terrorism with firmness.'' Condemning the blasts, the chairman of the All India Anti terrorist front M S Bitta announced that Rs 5 lakh reward for anyone who provides information about the blasts.
