Deshmukh orders high-level inquiry in train murder incident

Mumbai, Oct 30 (UNI) Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has given orders to conduct a detailed high-level inquiry into the incident of murder of a north Indian on a Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-bound local train at Khapoli in Maharashtra's Raigad district.

In an official release here today, he said more care would be taken of people travelling in trains.

It is the responsibility of the government to protect north Indians, he said, adding, they should not be worried about their safety.
