Three bogies, five tankers torched in Jharkhand
Ranchi, Oct 29 (UNI) Altogether three bogies of the Mumbai-bound Lokmanya Tilak Express and five tankers were torched late last night at Hatiya junction, about eight km from here.
The tankers, which belonged to Hindalco Group, were parked near the station and sustained partial damage, eyewitnesses said.
Meanwhile, forensic experts were today pressed into action to find leads to the fire that blazed up the bogies, official sources said.
Police informed that the area around the Hatiya junction was sealed at about 2300 hours yesterday, adding there was no report of any casualty.
Clueless of the cause of the blaze, police said the incident might be the repercussion of the killing of a Bihari student Rahul Raj in a police shootout in Mumbai on Monday.
