Polling date changed in MP, date of filing nominations unchanged

Bhopal, Oct 29 (UNI) The Election Commission today changed the polling date for Madhya Pradesh from November 25 to November 27 but no change was made in other dates including that of filing of nominations, counting, election results and other programmes.

According to a release issued by office of the state electoral officer, other dates remained unchanged. Filing of nominations would begin with the issuing of notification on October 31. The process would continue till November 7.

Scrutiny would be held on November 8, while names could be withdrawn till November 10. Counting will take place on December 8.

All election-related process would complete by December 13.
