All have right to go to Mumbai : Nitish
Patna, Oct 29 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said people of all the states have every right to go to Mumbai, the commercial capital of the country, without any fear.
Mr Kumar told mediapersons here that Mumbai had attained the status of commercial capital of the country with the active cooperation and investment from all parts of the country.
'' People of all parts of the country will naturally go to Mumbai as it is not only the commercial capital, but they have also fundamental right to earn their livelihhod at place of their choice, '' he added.
'' The emergence of unity among all political parties from Bihar on the issue of Maharashtra violence has sent a good signal across the country and it is being widely appreciated, '' the Chief Minister said.
Killing of one more North Indian even after its nationwide condemnation was an indication of the gravity of the situation, he added.
The Chief Minister hoped the Maharashtra Government would take steps to ensure foolproof security of the people wishing to observe ''Chhath'' festival there besides providing basic amenities to them on the occasion.
Mr Kumar also inspected the cleanliness drive of all ghats on bank of the river Ganges in Patna in view of the ''Chhath'' and directed the officers concerned to ensure its completion well before the festival.
