TTD presents Laddu and Bhagavad Gita to prisoners

Hyderabad, Oct 27 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) today distributed Sree Vari Laddus and copies of Bhagavad Gita to the prisoners of Cherlapalli jail in the city and organised a programme 'Gita Govindam'.

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K.Jana Reddy, Endowments Minister J.Ratnakar Rao, Chairman of TTD Adikesavulu Naidu and Executive Officer K.V. Rammanachary distributed the Laddus and copies of Bhagavad Gita at a function in the jail.

TTD distributed Laddus and copies of Bhagavad Gita to 11,000 prisoners and organised a programme 'Gita Govindam', simultaneously at 14 prisons in the State.

TTD sources said it would about an attitudinal change and a positive outlook towards life for prisoners.
