Pete Wentz says wife Ashley is his 'Rock'

London, Oct 28 : American musician Pete Wentz credits his wife Ashley Simpson for adding the much-needed balance to his life.

Pete, who once attempted suicide, is set to become a father pretty soon with Ashley on the verge of giving birth to their first child.

The bassist has experienced an incredible improvement in his mottled life after he met his wife.

"It's funny how things can change. My wife has brought a balance to my life that I could never have described to anyone," The Sun quoted Pete as saying.

"She's the giant beam that I walk across and holds me up. But she's also my safety net in case I fall. Being married has changed my life more than I could have imagined," he added.

While Pete is already a quarter of one of America's hottest bands, Pete also owns his own record label, clothing range and collection of bars.
