Boy's body found near beach in Kerala

Thrissur, Oct 28 (UNI) A body of a 12-year-old boy was found in a compound near the beach at Edakazhiyoor in Chavakkad area of Thrissur district today.

Police said the deceased was identified as Nizamuddin, son of Muhammed, a fisherman of Edakazhiyoor.

The boy, who was a student of standard VII, had left his house yesterday to participate in a local festival.

Police suspects that he might have been taken to a lonely area by somebody to assault sexually and was strangulated to death.
