Two Students killed, 10 hurt in AP dist
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 27 (UNI) Two college students were killed on the spot and ten injured, two of them seriously, in two accidents in Chittoor District here today.
Police sources said three college students were travelling on a motorbike to Kanipakkam from Piler and met with an accident it hit a stationary lorry, in between Chittoor and Kanipakkam Road, killing two of them on the spot. The other was injured.
The deceased were identified as Subramaniyam (22) and Obulsekhar (21). The bodies were sent to Chittoor Government Hospital for post-mortems.
In the other accident, a Andhra Pradesh State Transport Corporation bus turned turtle injuring ten passengers, two of them seriously.
The accident occurred at a culvert at Papalirathu Village.
The injured were admitted to Puttur Government Hospital for treatment, police added.
