Three youths die in cracker explosion

Bhubaneswar, Oct 27 (UNI) Three youths were killed when the crackers they were carrying exploded while they were riding a motor cycle near Patpur village under the Nimapada police station in Puri district late last night.

Nimapada police today said the three youths, identified as Jayant Pradhan, Akhaya Muduli and Sudarshan Pradhan, were travelling on a motor cycle after purchasing crackers for Diwali when the accident took place.

The impact of explosion was so huge that two of them were killed on the spot and the motor cycle was completely damaged. The other youth, seriously injured in the incident, later died on way to the hospital.
