Kidnapped in Gaya, businessman rescued from Saran

Chhapra, Oct 27 (UNI) A businessman kidnapped from Gaya three days back, was rescued at Bhatkeshari locality under Jalalpur police station area in Saran district today.

Police said the locals gathered at a hideout and resuced Sanjeet Prakash, the businessman who was screaming for help, while in captivity.

On being informed, the police also raided the hideout and arrested a kidnapper Munnilal Mahato.

Mr Prakash was kidnapped from civil lines locality of Gaya on October 24, police said adding the abductors had also demanded ransom of Rs 10 lakh.

Munnilal Mahato was being interrogated to elicit information about the others who were involved in the abduction, police added.
