Four cousins feared drowned
Krishnanagar, Oct 27 (UNI) Four cousins, aged between 18 and 22, were feared drowned in the Bhagirathi while taking a bath after attending a funeral in West Bengal's Nadia district today, police said.
Basak family's Tonmoy, Kesto, Suman and Bappa were swept away by heavy current of the river while taking a bath at Barabazar ghat after attending a cremation, police added.
Two others, Pintu Roy and Avijit Basak, who also went for bathing, escaped miraculously.
Divers and local rescue team were deployed to trace the missing bodies.
