Dry weather prevails over the State

Bangalore, Oct 27 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over South Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State and were appreciably above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and normal over Interior Karnataka. Karwar recorded highest maximum temperature of 35.0deg Celsius over the state.

Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at most places being markedly so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; however rose at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places being markedly so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka; appreciably fell at many places over North Interior Karnataka and however appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka.

Belgaum Airport recorded Lowest minimum temperature of 12.3 deg.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Mainly dry weather will prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather likely to prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29 and 16 degrees Celsius respectively.
