Religious preacher arrested for ''molestating'' a minor in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 25 (UNI) A religious preacher was today apprehended by the police for ''molestation'' in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here said.

''Following a complaint of exploitation by a minor girl, the religious preacher of Peer Baba was caught by the locals in Nai Basti area and was later handed over to the police,'' sources said.

The preacher identified as Parvez was arrested for ''misbehaving'' and ''exploiting'' a minor girl. A case under section 354 CrPc has been registered against him.
