TN: MDMK volunteers resort to agitation

Karur,Oct 25: Hundreds of volunteers of the Karur district unit of the Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK), staged a slogan-shouting demonstration in front of the taluk office on Saturday, Oct 25. Police said they were protesting against the arrest of the party General Secretary Vaiko and Treasurer M Kannappan on sedition charges.

They also demanded their immediate release.
