Lok Satta's Subhashini appointed observer for US Prez polls

Hyderabad, Oct 25 (UNI) A Subhashini of the Lok Satta Party has been appointed by the US government as one of the 100 international observers for its Presidential elections on November 4, She is the first woman from Andhra Pradesh to be chosen for the honour.

Ms Subhashini will be in the US for three weeks to study the campaign by the two Presidential candidates as well as the election process, a Lok Satta party release here said.

Expressing happiness over Ms Subhashini's choice, the party hoped that the visit would be of help in its movement to stengthen Democracy.

Ms Subhashini will also visit Germany from November 9 at the invitation of the government of that country and take part in a political conference.
