Syed Bashir-ud-Din appointed Chairperson of SHRC

Srinagar, Oct 24 (UNI) Justice (Retd) Syed Bashir-ud-Din was today appointed chairman of the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC).

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra in exercise of powers vested in him under sub-section (I) of section-4 of the Jammu and Kashmir protection of Human Rights Act, 1997, has appointed Justice (Retd) Syed Bashir-ud-Din as Chairperson of the SHRC.
