Student commits suicide after killing one

Allahabad, Oct 24 (UNI) An engineering student of BBS College killed himself after shooting another student of the same college under Soraon police area.

Police sources said B.Tech first year student Jayant Mishra shot his senior Swati Shukla, who was B.Tech second year student, in the college campus and tried to flee from the spot last evening.

When a mob ran after him, he crossed the boundary wall of the college, and after reaching out of college, he shot himself too.

Jayant died on the spot and Swati breathed her last in the hospital. Both were residents of Kanpur.

Police said one-sided love is the reason behind the incident.
