The ordinance, amending the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, was approved by Governor S C Jamir yesterday .
''We will oppose this ordinance in the legislature,'' Dr Gorhe told reporters here today.
She said the government should also consider the fact that why are political parties forced to resort to agitation.
''I doubt how this ordinance will stand before the court,'' she said, but did not comment whether her party will challenge it in the court of law.
