Scholarship granted to 51 wards of J

Srinagar, Oct 24 (UNI) Director General of Jammu and Kashmir police has sanctioned scholarship to 51 children of state police personnel, a police spokesman said.

He said Director General of Police (DGP) Kuldeep Khoda sanctioned Rs 840 each in favour of 51 children of serving and those police personnel who laid down their lives in the state.

The scholarship was sanctioned out of Central Police Welfare Fund for the year 2007-08, he said.
