'Sampark' Project Centre launched at Central Treasury

Chandigarh, Oct 24 (UNI) Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Union Territory Administrator General (Retd.) S F Rodrigues today launched a 'Sampark' Project Centre at the Central Treasury in Sector 17 of the city today.

This innovative IT programme, with an effective linkage with web portals of various departments of the Chandigarh Administration, gives quick solutions to multiple tasks, thus saving time and energy of citizens. It will also ensure transparency in service delivery systems.

General Rodrigues, while interacting with the Director IT and other functionaries at this Sampark Project, asked them to make it more people-friendly through computer interactive processes and enhance its scope of service for coverage of maximum population in the Tricity of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
