Relatives refuse to accept body of slain militant

Kannur, Kerala,Oct 24 (UNI) Relatives of slain militant Puthiya Purayil Muhammed Fayaz, who was killed in Jammu and Kashmir, today refused to accept his body.

Fayaz's mother Safia and other relatives informed Kannur SP S Sreejith that they could not accept the body as he was accused of treason.

Mr Sreejith said the Kashmir police would be informed of the relative's denial to accept the body.

Fayaz (22) was killed in a police encounter in Jammu and Kashmir on October seven.
