Nitish request Lalu,Paswan to become part of all party delegation

Patna, Oct 24 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today requested RJD president and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, LJP president and Union Steel and Fertiliser Minister Ramvilas Paswan to become part of the all party delegation from Bihar which would call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his intervention to ensure safety and security of people of Bihar in Maharashtra.

Mr Kumar made telephonic calls to Mr Prasad and Mr Paswan to apprise them about the decision of all party meeting in the state on the issue of attack on people of Bihar in Maharashtra.

''The representatives of all political parties unanimously condemned the Maharashtra incident and decided to call on Prime Minister for his intervention on the issue,'' he said.

Mr Kumar had directed his officials to contact Prime Minister Office(PMO) and seek the appointment of the PM for the delegations.
