Microsoft, Travelport tie up for travel industry

New Delhi, Oct 24: Microsoft Corporation and Travelport have tied-up to develop an integrated set of services for the travel industry.

''Through the collaboration, Microsoft and Travelport will provide airlines, travel suppliers, and travel agencies, including travel management companies and online travel agents, with new revenue and cost reduction opportunities, broader distribution reach and improved customer satisfaction and loyalty,'' the companies said in a joint statement.

The services are slated for the first quarter of next year.
