MDMK resort to agitation against arrest of Vaiko, Treasurer

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 24 (UNI) Marumalarchi DMK(MDMK) District unit led by their Secretaries A Malarmannan and R Natarajan staged a slogan shouting demonstration in front of the Railway junction here today.

Police said they were protesting against the arrest of party General Secretary Vaiko and Treasurer M Kannappan.

They also demanded the release of Mr Vaiko and Mr Kannappan.
